Young women and young men trauma survivors were supported with livelihoods for their retail business in Pan-Apuoth Boma, Wun-lang Payam, Aweil East County, Northern Bahr el Ghazal state.
In order to economically empower trauma survivors (including young men and young women) as part of economic empowerment for peace, Community Initiative for Partnership and Development (CIPAD) in collaboration with Wanjok Community Volunteer Counsellors identified five (5) young women and young men in Pan-Apuoth Boma, Wun-lang Payam, Aweil East County and supported them with bags of sugar, wheat flour, maize flour, tea leaves, soaps, yeast and plastic sheets as booster packages.
This activity aimed at empowering 5 trauma survivors (3 young men and 2 young women) through livelihoods items delivered to increased income level to meet some of their basic needs
