The community consultative and advocacy workshop on ending child and force marriage Conducted by UNDP and CIPAD in Nyoc-Awany Payam in Aweil South County ended up with developed action plan that has clear strategies on ending child and force marriage.
To contribute to reduction and mitigation of community-level conflict and insecurity by investing in initiatives that addresses key drivers of conflict and enhances community interdependency and social cohesion in the communities, Community Initiative for Partnership and Development (CIPAD) in partnership with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has conducted community consultative and advocacy workshop on ending child and force marriage in Nyoc-Awany Payam attended by 30 (8 females) on 2nd -3rd February 2021. The meeting has increased the capacities of local communities to address child and force marriage; and enhanced knowledge which enabled participants to produce action plan with clear strategies on ending child and force marriage in the Payam.
