Project team concluded 2days training of Maper women group on business skills in Aweil town
Community Initiative for Partnership and Development (CIPAD) concluded women group’s 2 days training on small business skills in Aweil Town at Maper Teachers Training Institute from 20th-21st February 2020. The training has enhanced skills and knowledge of 30 women group members on small business management and equipped them with skills and knowledge to cope up with any business challenges to be able make more income for their families. The training is an activity of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) supported Peace and Community Cohesion Project (PaCC) with funding from Government of Sweden.
Low level of income among women is the root cause of their vulnerability in many communities, so supporting and training them on business skills is one of the key steps to their economic empowerment initiatives.
This activity is a follow up activity aiming at improving their business capacity to maintain the established peanut butter making business. Many thanks to UNDP and Government of Sweden for making this activity possible.
