New Year Message (2021)

In the past 365 days, Community Initiative for Partnership and Development (CIPAD) with support from Partners has experienced beautiful moments in spite of any hard times in 2020. CIPAD managed to implement activities across the counties of Northern Bahr El Ghazal State which would have not been possible without Saferworld, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Civil Society Facility and Democracy International.

Saferworld with funding from UKAID and Europeans Commission (EC) has funded and continue to fund number of projects in Aweil Center and North Counties; United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) with funding from the Government of Sweden and United Nations Peacebuilding Funds has funded and continue funding one project which cover Aweil East, South and Center counties; Civil Society Facility (CSF) with funding from Sweden, Kingdom of Netherlands and Norway has funded one capacity development and advocacy project in Aweil; and Democracy International with funding from USAID provided free internet and space for civil society engagement in Aweil.

With the support from the above donors, our communities are adequately served by the project, something which would have not been possible without external support.

CIPAD sincerely acknowledged the support made by the above institutions. The above partners and Donors have not only helped our communities as project beneficiaries but also created jobs for our youths who are employed as the projects staff. Thank you partners and Donors for the support as well as your respective staff who directly and indirectly supervised our work, we highly recognized your support. May almighty God advance your strengths as well as opportunities to be able to response to various community challenges.
