Aroyo – Two days dialogue workshop conducted for learning sessions and capacity building of security forces and civilian representatives on gender responsive and inclusive security services in Aroyo of Aweil Center County, Northern Bahr el Ghazal state.
In order to ensure that the security sector interventions are informed by the security needs and priorities of women and girls so that the issue of lack of women’s voices on the security needs of women and girls is addressed, Community Initiative for Partnership and Development (CIPAD) with financial and technical support from United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has Conducted dialogue workshop of 2 days for learning sessions and capacity building of security forces and civilians’ representatives on gender responsive and inclusive security services in Aroyo Payam of Aweil Centre County attended by 25 (15 females) participants on 15th -16th of March 2021. Among the participants invited for the workshop were representatives of police, prison service, South Sudan Defense Force (SSPDF), fire brigade, wild life, local governments, women, chiefs and youths.
